The remote session was disconnected because there were network problems during the licensing protocol

I have been receiving the following error “The remote session was disconnected because there were network problems during the licensing protocol” when trying to RDP to a Windows 7 box with┬áRemote FX enabled on a VM.

Environment
Virtual Machine Manager 2012r2
Windows Server 2012r2 with Hyper-V
Virtual Machine – Windows 7 Enterprise x64

After spending hours trying all kinds of fixes I was able to resolve the issue with the following steps

1. Shut down VM, turn off Remote FX power up VM
2. Log into the VM through console with Hyper-V Manager on server
3. Install newer version of the Integration Services
4. Shutdown system
5. Log into SCVMM and enable remote FX for VM
6. Power on VM

After that I was able to log into the VM. One other key is I setup a new OU in AD for my VM’s and also setup a new GPO for Remote FX. Hope this works out for you if you run into this problem.
