Now that I have a Mono camera I have decided to dive much deeper into my photos and make sure I am getting the best quality image out of my time in the field be it in my backyard or out at the GNTO! In comes, something I have been wanting to learn to do for some time is the SubframeSelector process. I know it wasn’t difficult to do I just never added it to my process even though I had the icon setup. Well as they say “there is no time like the present”!

I could bore you will screen shots and explain the walkthrough, instead I will lean on Amy Astro! Make sure you have the right information on your camera bits. Amy did a hell of a job explaining this however the ASI183MM/MC is a 12bit camera. It’s ok we all miss stuff doing videos I know personally as I have been flamed a few times lol.
